We began with cows again in 2022.

This time with a goal of providing ourselves with the highest quality beef, and eventually ‘some extra’ we could share with community.

We found a Miniature Hereford bull named, ‘Hoyt’ and his two lovely bred heifers named ‘Merry & Ivy’

These three are the foundation of our growing herd. We couldn’t have been more fortunate and take pride in our cows. The beautiful work they accomplish as well as the nourishment they provide. True happiness.

We have been slowly growing our special herd and raising them in the most environmentally friendly and most thoughtful way possible.

By using ‘Adaptive Multi Paddock’ or AMP grazing techniques we are building the soil quality, building plant quality and diversity to grow a content and healthy animal.

The cows THRIVE on this! They are trained to and respect one strand electric fence and are ready and waiting to be moved on to their fresh piece of pasture everyday.

This is enhancing natural landscapes as well as supporting the abundance of wildlife and bird species through regenerative farming methods.

Our cows are smaller in stature, very hardy and adapted to a grass diet. They are selected for excellent temperaments, good maternal qualities and grass finishing capabilities.
