We Love What We Do!
We are raising organically fed, pasture-raised chicken on Vancouver Island using mobile infrastructure and regenerative grazing. Our birds forage fresh pasture with daily moves, supplementing organic feed with grasses, insects, and seeds.
Frequent moves, rest and rebuild soil, improve water retention, and support biodiversity across the Cowichan Valley farms we work with.
As a husband-and-wife team, we prioritize quality over quantity, producing small, traceable batches. Every bird is pasture-raised, handled with care, and processed locally for clear provenance. Pasture access with varied forage yield highly nutritious, flavorful poultry raised with animal welfare in mind always.
Buying from The HomePlace Farm supports regenerative, family-scale agriculture. We sell direct to neighbours, friends, family and local communities on southern Vancouver Island. Contact us to find this season’s organically fed pasture-raised chicken.
We offer either pickup at our home farm by appointment, or free delivery to arranged meet up points in Cobble Hill, Mill Bay & Duncan (for now, but this may expand as we grow)
